The bridge on the River Khwae (the death Railway Bridge)

The bridge is  an ordinary black iron bridge on the River Khwae, it has become more and more famous due to the promotion of many films and books about the bridge and it attracts both foreign and Thai tourists to visit each year.

 

Sri Nakharin Dam

It is the biggest rockfill dam with a clay core in Thailand, which situated on Khwae Yai river, approximately 4 km from Erawan waterfall in the north of Khwae Yai river.

 

Erawan National Park

The park covers more than 500 squares km with the beautiful 7 tiers waterfall which is considered to be one of Thailand's beautiful waterfalls. Most tourists come to Erawan national park for trekking, and the accommodation and camping facilities and a daytime food market are available at the park.

 

Sukhothai Historical Park

The park includes ruins of the royal palaces, Buddhist temples, the city gates, walls, moats, dams, ditches, ponds, and canals, which was the magical and spiritual center of the kingdom. Now it is preserved and have been restored by the Fine Arts Department with the cooperation of UNESCO. The park opens everyday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm

 

Vajiralongkorn Dam

Another rockfill dam in Kanchanaburi, and also known as Khao Laem Dam which it locates 153 km from Kanchanaburi. It is famous for floating accommodation and cruising boats, a boat trip on the lake with a stop at a coconut grove (a fleshy variety of coconut) on an island in the lakes takes 1 hour from the dam.

By Car: Take 2 hours driving from the highway No.4

By Bus: Non air-conditioned bus leave Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal daily every 15 minutes from 4 am to 8 pm. And First class air-conditioned bus leaves Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal daily every 25 minutes.

By Train: Ordinary trains leave Bangkok Thonburi Raily Station daily but only 3rd class seat train.
